I have 14 different colors mixed of PLA and ABS - -I have had two failures to feed. What has the community done - (DYI Cartridge Surgery? or do you just return it and what has been your experience)

3D Systems advised me to open the cartridge and push the filament during printing or purge. It works, but there are two magnets that fall off easily. I'm not sure of their function, but it still printed successfully even with the lower magnet temporarily missing.
